Continual Scholarships

Hussian College® offers academic merit, portfolio merit, and need based scholarships. Students are eligible for only one scholarship.

Portfolio Based:
Incoming freshmen in the BFA program that demonstrate strong art and design skills are eligible for portfolio based scholarships.

In order to qualify for portfolio based scholarships, students must be accepted by June 1, 2017, for the 2017 fall semester and December 1, 2017, for the 2018 spring semester.

All applicants for the portfolio based scholarships must submit the following no later than June 1, 2017, for consideration for the fall 2017 semester:

  1.  Completed application available online or through the Office of Admissions including transcripts and completion of interview or creative assessment.
  2.  Five (5) samples of artwork submitted digitally to admission@hussiancollege.edu. These pieces can show a range of your work from drawing, painting, photography, design, ceramics, etc. or can concentrate on one particular media and technique. Just show the scholarship committee your best work! Clearly label each piece with your name, title, media, and date. These materials will not be returned.
